Attorney Richard Lucas brings a unique blend of corporate leadership and hands-on legal experience to his clients. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Richard’s career reflects a lifelong commitment to hard work, excellence, and problem-solving.
He earned his MBA from Central Michigan University, graduating summa cum laude, and later completed his Juris Doctor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he graduated magna cum laude. This strong academic foundation prepared him for a career at the intersection of business and law.
For more than two decades, Richard held executive roles in major corporations, focusing on labor and employment, contracts, and mergers and acquisitions. At Signet, Inc., he managed executive operations, advised on labor and employment issues, and played a key role in mergers and acquisitions. He later joined Charter, where he continued to guide contract management and employment law matters at the highest level. This corporate experience gives Richard invaluable insight into how businesses operate—and how legal decisions impact people, livelihoods, and families.
Alongside his executive leadership, Richard has also practiced law in Ohio, serving individuals and families in matters involving family law, contracts, and torts. His ability to combine business acumen with compassionate advocacy allows him to connect with clients from all walks of life and craft practical, results-driven solutions to their legal challenges.
When he’s not working with clients, Richard enjoys golfing, playing tennis, traveling, and exploring art and culture. From visiting museums to attending live theatre, opera, and orchestral performances, he and his wife, Demra, share a passion for new experiences and spending time with family and friends.
