I hired Beth Ann Smith to handle a custody case regarding my son and she is the best in town. We went to court many times and she was always on time and prepared. Was a tough case and I can say that I felt safe knowing she was with me all the way.

This is the slowest least productive attorney. I filed for divorce and paid $3,550 in June 2021. My divorce is still pending the judge's signature per my lawyer Beth Ann Smith. It is now October 2025. I call, email, and go to the office in person, and I have not gotten anywhere. The divorce was agreed upon by me and my husband. There were no disagreements between us. We both agreed on everything presented because we discussed it prior to me retrieving the attorney. I was referred to her by someone else, and I was told that she was a great. I wish I had never listened to them. Beth Ann is unreliable, unresponsive and moves without care or concern for you or your case. Please do not waste your time or money. Unfortunately, I can't afford to hire another lawyer, so I have to sit and wait on her to do her job. I've reached out to other attorneys and in order to hire someone else more money is required. Please do your own research and check reviews. I wish I had.

I hired them for a divorce and custody case. They charged me $5,100. I’ve only been married a year. They took too long to file and now I am the defendant. They took my money and I never heard from them again. They cancel all of my court hearings so I have yet to see a judge or my children because of them and it’s been a year. Please avoid them. They are not trust worthy and will take your money if you give it to them. I have to now get the Georgia Bar Association involved.

PLEASE don;t waste your money on these old maids. They will take your money and hardly will you ever hear from them. They got me for $2,500.00 and I never ever saw them. They think you are an ATM machine . When your money runs low, they will leave you holding the BAG !

I hired Beth ann last year for a custody battle with my ex. We met for consultation and she seemed knowledgeable and confident so I hired her. After the consultation I never heard from her again. I called over and over and emailed and got nothing. The only thing she did was submit a completely botched answer to to my ex’s petition. After a month of no response I ended up having to find another attorney, and you best believe she kept the entire $3000 retainer.

I hired her to represent me in my divorce. I was married for 28 yrs. Most of it a stay home mom. She did absolutely nothing to prepare my case. I supplied her everything she asked me to do and more. A week before our first al hearing she blamed me and said she was not prepared. I had to fire her a week before my final hearing and ended up hiring another lawyer and had to settle out if court. I got screwed.
