The majority of our practice is insurance defense. We have provided representation to the insureds of some of the largest insurance companies in the country for over twenty years. We have over 200 jury trials (both criminal and civil, but mostly civil) to our credit. We are very familiar with the venues surrounding Augusta, in both Georgia and South Carolina.

We provide experienced and aggressive defense of the client, whether that be the insured, or the insurer. Our defense philosophy is to push the case to resolution unless there is a compelling reason not to do so. We are conservative in our evaluation of the value of cases, but that is based on years of experience trying personal injury cases, and confidence in our ability to get a good result. Nevertheless, we are pragmatic, and will recommend settlement when it is necessary to do so, and is in our clients best interest to do so.
