Since its founding in 2007, the law firm of John R. B. Long, P.C. has served clients across Georgia, South Carolina, and Washington, DC. Based in Augusta, Georgia, we strive to help our clients assess and achieve their legal needs. While we primarily specialize in civil litigation, family law, and appellate work, our expertise in multiple practice areas allows us to perform real estate closings, draft wills and trust agreements, and assist clients in many other types of transactions. We also handle mediations in both civil and domestic relations cases.

Hired Attorney John R.B. Long

Mr. Long won my divorce case and appealed it all the way to the Supreme Court to get justice. Without him as an advocate I might not be able to see my kids. Highly recommend him - he’s not inexpensive but he’s a bulldog in the courtroom.

Mr. Long defended My Company in an employment dispute. He was very knowledgeable in his defense of the allegations, and very professional. He made the Plaintiff's Counsel look like a grammar school child. Very impressive,as this was my first ever court appearance. I am very thankful to have him as my counsel and highly recommend him.

John R.B. "Jack" Long was able to win my case through diligent work and full knowledge of case law. I cannot thank him enough for all that he has done for my children. His fees are reasonable, and he won't nickel-and-dime his clients for making photocopies and the like. I highly recommend Jack Long for legal services.

Hired Attorney John R.B. Long

John ("Jack") R.B. Long took my very complicated custody case from 2500 miles away after two other separate law firms in Augusta had received thousands from me in "fees" and had done nothing, thus jeopardizing my case. Through diligent work and thorough legal knowledge, and along with his wonderful secretary, Mattie, Jack has since won my case in the Georgia Court of Appeals. I highly recommend this firm.

Jack had all the answers to questions before I even asked them. His knowledge regarding law is amazing!! Through the entire legal process he made me feel very comfortable. I truly feel he is an asset to the Judicial System. I am very thankful that he took my case and I had no doubt he was the best!!!

Mr. Long was professional, responsive, attentive and brilliant in representing me in my divorce and child custody cases. We won the child custody case and I owe it all to him. The merits of the case decided the outcome, but Mr. Long's ability to adapt to events in the courtroom, as well as his closing argument were instrumental in the judges decision to award me primary custody.
