He did everything he said he would had the out come he said also .
Norm and his whole office make you feel as if you are their most important client and have a level of professionalism mixed with the hometown values that make them unique. I have recommended them to my friends and anyone needing honest fair priced legal services in New York.
I already have recommended him
He condones spousal abuse and will represent the abusive party if they have the money. Literally will say “I can get rid of her” for X amount of.m money. No regard to what may be actually going on.
Doesn't communicated very well and when you call his office the secretaries are rude. He missed 2 out the 5 court dates and me and my wife did 95% of the leg work as well as phone calls. After I did a settlement he was no help with issues pertaining to settlement issues.
Norm said he was going to a number of things, however when we got to court he did nothing at all. I filed all paperwork, and did all the leg work. Norm was definitely not worth the money he was paid. My advise to anyone who retains Norm Chirco to be very cautious about what he says he will do for you, and to make sure you stay on top of everything! I would never recommend him to anyone, especially women who are leaving abusive marriages/relationships!
I was told that the divorce would take about 3 months. I did not mind if it went 4 months or slightly longer due to possible unforeseen delays. The divorce proceedings went on for a year which costed me not only extra attorney fees but extra in continuing insurance for my wife. The process to use a "Referee" should have been used sooner when the opposing attorney delayed by not sending in the paperwork, and a legal judgement used afterwards with continuing to delay. A simple divorce made long
