Speaker Law Firm is a law firm with an office in Atlanta, GA. At this office location, there is 1 lawyer practicing family law, divorce, child support and 7 other areas of law.
He spent the majority of the initial call dismissing my concerns and problems as either frivolous, or so easy to solve that anyone bothering to ask him those questions is foolish for even asking him. And when I finally got something usable (file papers, police info), it wasn't even comprehensive: other law firms I had asked addressed my concerns from several angles (finance, family law, housing, etc.), and he... not so much.
I called as a new client looking to hire him, and I've never come across an attorney so deliberately rude and unhelpful. He dismissed my concerns, said he wasn't taking new clients right now and didn't know when he would be (perhaps because I made the mistake of telling him that part of this was covered by MetLife Insurance, from which I got his name as an in-network provider), and refused to provide me a referral, saying that no one can do what he can do.
I could never get anyone to return my calls. They were either not in the office or stated they would return call once in the office and that did not occur. They gave erroneous info; no updates. 24hrs later advised that my case could be postponed they stated perfect we have not started any documentation. There was no documents mailed to me. They charged me over $600.00 for doing nothing. I never received any documentation until I stated I cancel the service. Frauds!
Extremely unresponsive, slow moving. Constant billing, spelling, factual errors. I could go on, planning on filing a complaint with the GA Bar Association.
