Hired him for an EEOC case. This guy was not prepared. I felt like he did nothing so I would continue to pay for an appeal. Did that and he did not even respond and file documents with the administrative judge and my case was over! He had the nerve to ask did I want to continue to federal court! I spent approximately $24,000. I filed a complaint with Georgia State Bar. If you filed a complaint, research The Bar to let them know what he is NOT doing!

I definitely picked the wrong law firm. I had a new inexperienced attorney. I’m out of $7,500. I could have done a better job than this law firm. I would never recommend this law firm to anyone. If you are considering this firm, you might as well represent yourself. I have never seen a law firm to charge for phone calls $60-120. How are we going to communicate. They request money randomly every one to two months after. Needless to say, I lost my case. Avoid this law firm at all costs. Worse decision I could have ever made.

The negative reviews are all accurate. The positive reviews are completely fake posts. Southworth PC is a scam, there is no argument. Do not retain Southworth PC, they will take your money, promise settlements and damage any chance you have a favorable outcome. The intake attorney will tell you that you have a great case, then you will pay a $7500 retainer. $35,000+ later and Shaun Southworth abandoned me days before the EEOC Initial Conference. I lost my career and they stole my life savings. From the beginning Southworth will talk about depositions, discovery, settlements, demand letters, strategies, et al, however none of that will happen I can assure you. The firm will exhaust your funds with fraudulent charges as quickly as you pay them. They will threaten you with a payment plan. No meaningful work will be performed and what is done will be so unprofessional and inept, it is deeply troubling Shaun and Tatiana are even allowed to practice law. Over $35000+ dollars spent, no result

Shaun Southworth and his firm are scam artists. The negative reviews are accurate. Shaun does not represent you, he hands your case off to unqualified attorneys. I had four in 10 months. Two of them quit the firm during the case. The intake attorney will tell you that you have a good case. You will pay a $7500 retainer. Nothing will happen and they will expend that money, with no meaningful work performed. They will not provide invoices or details of what has been done. Weeks, even months, will pass and the business manager will simply continue to invoice your account while they apply fraudulent charges for "work" such as emails, scheduling, even charges for billing. Joseph Suen, was the first attorney, he quit, Carlos Andino, he quit, Tatiana Cooley, is incompetent and was wrong on every aspect of advice. She lost at the MSPB, and could not even make a cogent jurisdictional argument when asked by the judge. I spent $35,000, while my spouse was dying of cancer, I lost my career, was...

Hiring Southworth PC was the biggest mistake of my life. I had a very strong case as I was employed by my federal agency for 33 years with a meticulous record and many awards. Shaun Southworth, although on initial contact seems nice, is actually a very nasty and arrogant man. He took my money in increments of $5,000 and used it up rapidly .. no visible result …this is a fact. When my funds ran out he put me on on a payment plan and then my case was reassigned to Georgia Lawrence. She provided poor communication, filed everything at the last minute and did not seem to ever comprehend the facts of my case. I had a grueling 6.5 hour deposition with the US Justice Department. She was on Zoom supposedly supporting me. She came back from lunch 20 minutes late which really irritated the Justice Department attorney then had to leave for an hour to speak to another judge on another case … leaving me on my own … then when she came back from that meeting she forgot to turn off her video ..

-THE STAR TIMES trillion! Shaun told me I had a win & I could also take settlement because Andrea (the judge) likes to settle. Took me 1 year to get my tax returns saved up ($5,000 Trust fund retainer fee paid in full to Shaun Southworth) & even ended up homeless for 6 months during the wait for Shaun to finish appealing my case. Got word last week after 2 years of asking what is status of settlement EEOC says I lost case! When speaking to Shaun he plays dumb saying, “ I don’t know what happened here but you clearly have a case & we have 3 options 1. let it go 2. write a demand letter to agency 3. $2500 more for court hearing!” I asked for the balance owed to me from trust fund retainer instead he says I have a $42.88 bill from 2021! When I did the first appealed myself, I the same exact results paying Shaun $5,000. DON’T DO IT! I filed my initial compliant in 2016 with EEOC & this is 7 yrs later nothing, just broke busted & disgusted! Time wasted as well. The 5 stars are paid people

The absolute worst decision that I could've made hiring this guy. Took thousands of dollars from me, ruined my legal claims and then pulled off my case when I didn't have more money to give him. Did not get one tangible outcome from retaining this guy as my attorney.

They don’t call you back. So, don’t bother call this law firm.
