Eric Shapiro was recommended to me by a mutual friend. I was a little nervous, but he more than reassured me. Eric made sure that we focused on the best case scenario for not only the kids but the pets as well. He was responsive and caring, making sure I felt heard and that my now ex-wife's felt respected.{para}He made sure that I was well advised on the situation. I am a meticulous person making sure all the details are hammered out and he followed through. Please choose Eric he's the best.

Eric Shapiro is a great attorney. He made sure that I was calm and collected through the whole thing and although I had mountains of paperwork he helped me wade through it. If there was something I didn't understand, he made sure to take the time that I did. I felt I could contact him whenever I needed. Anytime I felt discouraged, he made sure that I was pushed in the right direction to get me back up on my feet. He reminded me that this was about my kids each time.

I am not a wealthy person and being someone who cannot afford much I was happily surprised to find that Eric was willing to work on payments with me. He told me that although money had to be dealt with he was much more concerned with the case and I really respected that. He made sure that my case was meticulously reviewed and made me feel like I had someone standing up for me. Anytime I needed him he was there and he made sure everything was in order and that I was in the loop. Use him!

He did a great job. I thought I would be cut out of my kids lives, but he made sure I had a good amount of visitation nd my support figure is reasonable. Thanks

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
