Ruby saved my life! She is an amazing attorney that takes your case under her wing and guides you through each step. I was dealing with a messy breakup and my son's father was attempting to alienate me from my son. He even requested an emergency hearing to attempt to take custody from me with a slew of fabricated lies to present to judge. Attorney Ruby Knight was amazing and got the whole thing threw out swiftly, as well as guided me through how to handle the continued harassment that followed by my ex. I am so thankful that I picked her and have had her by my side through this unfortunate experience. It's worth noting too that her rates and payment plans are more than fair. She worked with me on a flat rate that made sense for my budget and I know the service that she's provided so far is worth much more than what I've paid. She promised me a flat rate and that's what I paid. She hasn't asked me for another dime, even though the work was more than I think she anticipated.
Working with this lawyer was the single most traumatizing experience of my life. She procrastinated a temporary custody hearing to the last minute, keeping me up over the phone until 2am the night before the hearing. She xeroxed pictures of screenshots and used them as "exhibits" which were illegible and honestly useless. She never took the time to meet me in person, as she has no office and works solely from home. The first time I met her was 10 minutes before my hearing. Phone calls with her are extremely frustrating as she is hyperverbal and loses track of the conversation and starts talking about her son's career path when we should have been working on my custody hearing. She has an extremely coarse voice and the judge was frustrated with how difficult it was to understand her, she didn't realize how much time she had for the temporary hearing and actually wasted all of her time asking the same question over and over to the other side. I fired her immediately after. STAY AWAY.
