Jewel-Ann Cornelius is a skilled litigator with extensive experience in negotiation, research, and trial strategy. As a seasoned attorney, she has honed her trial skills as a competitor in local moot court competitions and as a student of the Law Reform & Advocacy Clinic at Hofstra Law. After graduating, Attorney Cornelius worked as an Assistant Corporation Counsel at the City of New York, where she successfully tried and settled several multi-million dollar cases.
Attorney Cornelius went on to represent the Federal Government at the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs and garnered years of experience before administrative law judges at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the US Merit System Board. Working at the VA and alongside veterans sparked a desire to directly serve those who have sacrificed so much for our great nation - which led her to Morgan & Morgan, where she uses her knowledge of people, the VA, and the law to seek justice for veterans who are often overlooked and forgotten about. Attorney Cornelius has proven to be passionate about the law and every client she represents.
Jewel enjoys adventures with her energetic toddler, teaching yoga, and mentoring younger lawyers and law students outside of work.
