Hired Attorney Charles M. Medlin

Words cannot express the respect, admiration and appreciation I have for Charles Medlin and his amazing team at Bovis, Kyle, Birch, Medlin LLC. Unfortunately, I found myself in a very high conflict custody case, which was emotionally and psychologically draining. Enter Charles and his team into my life. Charles made me feel heard and welcome and treated me like family from day one. My case required a lot of attention, given the aggressive nature of the opposing side. However, Charles strategically and skillfully handled the hostile territory and diffused numerous landmines both respectfully and ethically with what seemed like ease, which helped keep me calm through the process. His knowledge of family law is extensive, familiarity with the Forsyth County judicial system is unmatched and his ability to navigate the most complex situations is amazing. With Charles' guidance, I was very happy with the results of my case and will forever be indebted for what he did for me and my children

Hired Attorney Charles M. Medlin

There’s so much praise I have to offer Charles and his team. My wife hired a formidable buckhead highrise lawyer who was determined to make our divorce ugly. Charles accepted my challenge to maintain a firm but respectful proceeding. He advised me expertly when I was willing to give up more than was fair for my kids. His strategy, from the beginning, was objectively excellent. The outcome was better than I expected yet I never felt as though I compromised my integrity. The other side tried to play lawyer games but Charles’ team remained focused, consistent and tactical. I was kept informed and in control throughout. I am pleased to report that my now xwife and I are co-parenting and getting along better than we have in decades. I passed on several lawyers before selecting CMM who ranged from snakes to hippies whose rates were just as variable. Charles made me feel comfortable from the start. He is very experienced, smart as a whip and has a kind heart.

Charles and his team came into my case after about six months where I had other representation and made tremendous strides towards getting me a fair settlement. Charles's experience was well worth my investment with him. I could not have been more pleased with the final outcome. I can assure anyone who faces a challenging divorce process, that Charles is incredibly capable and determined in his representation of his clients. One of the great assets of Charles's firm, is the incredible resources that they can provide based on the specific needs at any time. I was thorougly impressed with every member of the team that I had the chance to work with these past months. (and very thankful it is behind me now!)

Hired Attorney Erin S. Stone

I went to Erin to get a Separation Agreement drafted and after paying my retainer, had to consistently check in with her on when it would be finished. She was very difficult to get a hold of and when I finally did, she billed me for the five minute call where I asked her if she had received my edits. After sending me back the first round of edits she never spoke to me again. I still haven't heard from her, but I did receive another bill! I feel like she only cares about getting more money out of me and I am left with so many questions about what to do with my document once it is signed. DO NOT hire her to help you!

Hired Attorney Erin S. Stone

If there were a rating less than one - I would give Erin Stone that - She is unethical, greedy - and won't even work on your behalf. She will take your money - and let you go to jail for the child support you paid to her - that she gave to the ex-spouse - then turn off her cell phone - and go home. Then she will demand more money - she won't divulge conflicts of interest - she won't (admittedly) prepare for your case. She is worse than no attorney, rude, doesn't show up - RUN!
