Britton G. White is of counsel in our Athens, Georgia, office, and he concentrates his practice on general liability, transportation, and premises liability defense. With nearly two decades of experience, Britton brings seasoned litigation insight to clients navigating complex civil matters.
Before joining Hall Booth Smith, Britton spent 16 years at an insurance defense firm in Savannah, where he represented insurers and their insureds in automobile and premises liability cases, insurance coverage disputes, and declaratory judgment actions. He has extensive experience managing all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal, including handling motions hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials in state and federal courts across Georgia. He also regularly advised clients and insurance carriers on settlement strategy and litigation risk.
Britton earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Emmanuel University in 2002.
