We could get that all done in about 8 weeks if you both cooperate and do your parts quickly.

This isn't a question which can be answered by an attorney. The court backlog of cases determines how long it will take for the judge to be presented with a judgment packet for his/her signature.

Assuming all the paperwork has been properly prepared and signed then it is submitted to the court. The wait depends on each county. Some counties return the paper work in a couple of weeks while other counties may take several weeks or a few months to do the processing. If you want a date certain for the paperwork to signed by a Judge, it is possible to set a court hearing for the Judge to review and sign the papers. Consult with an attorney as far as which procedure would be the most timely in your county.
