Can i use contractors in a dog walking business?

I have a dog walkung company and prefer contracotrs but want to get it right because employee taxes are soo much

The answer to the question you got is correct.  You should also have a contract which makes clear the status of independent contractor.

Whether the people performing services for your company are classified as independent contractors or employees depends on the degree of control that the principal (your company) exercises over them in the performance of those services.  If you want your classifcation of these people as independent authorities to be honored by the taxing authorities, they have to exercise a significant degree of control over those services.  For example, they are more likely to be viewed as contractors rather than employees if they pick the hours they walk the dogs, rather than the company, if htey pick the place they walk the dogs rather than the company, if they choose how many dogs they can walk at one time, rather than the company, etc.
