He did not help to resolve our custody issue at all!! He got our hopes up that he would fight to get our children home with us. In reality did nothing.
A family member recommended Michael to me after he won his custody matter for him. I’m not sure if it was the situation or lack of interest in my case but I felt he had more or less took my money. There were also repeated calls in order for me to find out the next step. They even lied about the filing date in order to get more money from me. I wouldn’t recommend him.
After my divorce, I hired Mr. Ciochina to submit necessary paperwork to divide several retirement accounts accrued during the marriage. Mr. Ciochina insisted on being paid in full, up front. Once paid, he did absolutely nothing for 8 months. Repeated phone calls and emails to him went unanswered. When he finally did submit the required paperwork, the forms either were incomplete or incorrect. The "3-month" process took 21 months. His errors literally cost me $$thousands. Do NOT hire this man!!!
Once Mr. Ciochian got my retainer fee, I never heard from him again unless I contacted him multiple times. I provided every piece of documentation needed to file a simple form to stop child support for a child who is now 21. It has been 10 months and there is still no resolution in this case and he refuses to refund my money or return my documents. I am filing a complaint with the BBB and the Bar Association. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!!!!
