Curtis Sluder Law Firm, PC is a law firm established in 1998 with an office in Asheville, NC. At this office location, there are 2 lawyers practicing criminal law, dui/dwi, traffic law and 2 other areas of law.
I was recently ticketed in Asheville for speeding 9 mph over the speed limit. I contacted Sluder Law for assistance in court. Vijay Nathan promptly contacted me to discuss the situation. Hiring a new lawyer is a risk. You have no idea what you are getting. I hired Vijay Nathan @ Curtis Sluder to fight a traffic ticket. I thought I had a good case, but who knows? I had 7-11 open cases that dated back a total of 10 years. They got the probation violations taken care of, the failure to appears dropped, my licences back, and I never even had to make an appearance in a NC court room or jail for that matter. They had a plan from the beginning and were honest with me about the best and worse possible outcomes. Quick and effective communication was a a strength of theirs through the entire process. Extremely professional
They went to court on my behalf. They sent me an email with my case # to pay online, and they entered the wrong case number. Of course nothing showed up in the system, and 30 days later the court contacted me to notify me that my license was suspended. I contacted the Sluder Law office and they then provided me the correct Case number. They left me hanging with late fees with the Court, and charges with the DMV, and a suspended license. Their negligence cost me money, time, and more legal troubles. Their way of righting the situation was to tell me that they are sorry for the email typo, and I should have contacted them earlier.
