I’m very disappointed with the lack of professionalism in this office. As so many others have stated, you will most likely be passed around from attorney to attorney in the office. I will say that fortunately I landed on Mr. Terry Turzinski, who seems to be the only quality and professional person left in the firm. Again, as many others have stated you will have to reach out multiple times in order to contact office staff. If you are asked to leave a message you will never receive a call back. Their timelines are just random dates to appease you for the meantime because they will not actually take care of things within the timeframe you were given. In my case my wonderful attorney I ended up with was able to win me a reasonable settlement that I was satisfied with. He promised everything would be settled and closed out within “2-6 weeks.” Six months later I’m yet to even receive a call from the office!
You don't get divorced everyday. It is important to have information provided regarding details/steps. I was disappointed the person I interviewed with was not the person I would work with. It would have helped to be advised of this. My husband seemed to have an attorney that was telling him information that I got blindsided with that I had to contact Mr. Ross' office to inquire about. when I called they knew already and he dealt with who he interviewed with.
Need to communicate with client more you should not go months without knowing the status of your case. Then when you call for an update you are charged. I never knew what was going on even as I write this review 5 months after filing for divorce I still do not know the status of my case. all I ever receive is a invoice each month.
After running through my substantial retainer in a few months, it still took nearly two years to finalize my divorce. There were no kids and not many contested assets. Ross did not even stand up to opposing counsel or use accurate financial information I provided him to protect my interests. By the time I realized I chose the wrong attorney, i couldn't pay another one. So, I ended up getting nothing of financial community property. But 4 years from the beginning, I still get bills from Ross.
same as the previous review... We hiredd him b/c it seemed like paying more money would get us better service. We were told it would take a week to serve the other party, it took about 2 months. Here we are 8 months into it and barely had a court date. Ive called 3 times this month with no call back to answer my question regarding making this case final. They have fired or lost so many paralegals in the last 8 months and blamed it on that. I wish there would have been reviews for me to read
I went for a divorce. Sure, the big guy Jim is all smiles and attentiveness while you're talking to them about hiring their firm but once you're a client, you are pretty much on your own.
I would call and never get a call back. It took almost a year to get a uncontested divorce finalized. I thought my ex husband would fight me so I searched for a lawyer. His positive reviews are obviously his employees. Waste of time and money. They charge you for everything, even minute calls.
Had a horrible experience. Paid a lot of money and I hardly got any follow up on questions, comments, or requests. I was lied to; I was told something repeatedly because I wanted to be 100% sure of something; after a few months of being done with them, found out they were wrong and he told me they never said that. I would leave messages to call me back and they never did. I would go months without hearing from them, but I always got the bill.
