I had a complicated case with a lot of messy documentation. After hiring an attorney who mainly neglected my case for two years, I hired Mr. Joe Silver for my disability appeal in front of a judge. Mr. Silver and his firm got all the relevant information which were needed to justify my case. He presented all the justifications to the judge and she approved me right away. I am grateful to this law firm for taking great care of my case which lead to a favorable outcome.

I was very happy with her for everything except she was a little slow on returning emails.

I had been turned down for ssd twice with other lawyers. Silver and Silver got my ssd approved.

CAUTION ⚠️ !!’ When I became disabled I hired Silver and Silver to help me file for my disability. I believed having an attorney would help me get approved on my first review. I mean, after two strokes, I was completely paralyzed on my left side. Was unable to work at all and had already been out of work for 6 months before being able to file. Imagine my surprise when I was denied! I was beside myself! They only reason I hired them was to get me approved! They failed miserably. I could have filed myself and not needed an attorney if this was the case. Of course you get the phone calls and emails “ not everyone get approved the first time, it’s a process, yada, yada, yada “ So , I let them go and notified SSDI that Silver and Silver no longer represented me. It was then that I filed my own appeal . All paperwork and correspondence came directly from me. And it was months of paperwork and doctor reports. Finally, I was approved on my appeal. Imagine my surprise again when SSDI gave 20%

Ben is ableist and yells and interrupts and hangs up on disabled people. Stephanie isn’t any better. They are rude, unprofessional and ableist. They never answered my calls then claimed I never returned their calls so they had an excuse to drop my case days before my hearing. They’re the worst lawyers (if you can even call them that) I’ve ever hired.

This firm , in particular Cindy Silver and Joe Schwartz, folded like a cheap suit when it came to fighting for me concerning the multiple permanent injuries I have as a result of an auto accident. During the arbitration hearing, they strongly recommended that I take a small settlement for my devastating injuries. When I said I wanted to go to trial. they fought me and did not support me. They said they would state that if I went to trial, it would be against their legal advice. They were fearful of the opposing attorney, whom they had told me earlier, they knew very well and did not anticipate any problems getting me the full value of my substantial insurance coverage. DO NOT USE THESE INCOMPETENT JERKS!!!!!!

Weeks passed before I recieved a phone call from Mr. Silver. I already had hired a law firm (who was on top of things) so I did not return his call. Since then I have recieved FOUR "robo" telemarketing emails from them. Each telemarketing email has exactly the same content. I responded to three of the emails, politely at first, that they were not to contact me further. In my last email I notified them they are in violation of the Can Spam act and I would report them if I received another email.

Silver & Silver did not do the following to keep me informed. The client should have sufficient information to participate intelligently in decisions concerning the objectives of the representation and the means by which they are to be pursued, to the extent the client is willing and able to do so. Adequacy of communication depends in part on the kind of advice or assistance. when there is time to explain a proposal, The State Of NJ Public Assistance got money they should not have received.

I called silver and silver on the recommendation of a friend. They never even called me to decline my case. They just ignored me. Ambulance chasers. Very unprofessional.
