I had a very difficult workman comp case in 2009 and it went all the way to the District 3 Court of Appeals (winning in 2012)-because although we kept winning, my employer kept appealing. Thanks to my Attorney Stu Spaude,I was able to get my medical bills paid and was compensated for my injury and loss of my sick and vacation time. My attorney was not paid very much for the work involved but he treated me no different than a client who he would stand to make far more on. I would recommend !!
Great Litigation and consumer care given
Mr. Fyfe was the best around when he was on his own as I have used him before, but after he was added to the firm he has lost alot of the drive I used to see in him as far as winning for his clients
He stated that the way my ex-wife was fighting for custody of our children was a game. I had to play the 'game'. I didn't feel losing my children should be considered a game.
All Doug wants to do is negotiate, save your money and do it yourself.
Mr Fife didn't represent me as he should have. He worked with my ex-husbands lawyers to bleed all the money they could. He didn't inform me of my rights, or my children's rights. He didn't do any investigating as to the assets that were hidden. He did no investigation into the background of my ex-husbands girlfriend, whom my minor children had to live with during the shared custody.
Absolutely the worst lawyer ever. He continually told us he was doing things he wasn't doing and chasing twice for it, he wouldn't listen, he was constantly forgetting where we were on my cases- he wouldn't even notify us of when I needed to be in court, which ultimately cost me to lose my case against my attacker. We are still trying to financially recover from the TWELVE+ THOUSAND DOLLARS he charged me over the could of years he was "representing" me. He should be disbarred.
Very poor communication skills. I thought I would get good advice and guidance. All they do is run up your bill with terrible communication! I fired him $3000 into a divorce case. I’m an Appleton business owner and know you should have courtesy to communicate much better than what you did for my money. Do more research before you make same mistake I did!
