This lawyer was a significant disappointment. In the course of 5 months is jail he was unable to make any deal with the prosecutor. I received the maximum sentence for a felony charge when the true crime was only a misdemeanor, due to his lack of explanation of my options when making a plea. At key times while I was on probation he explained away my need for his help and abandoned me to the false accusations of my probation officer. Overall I feel that he believed I deserved to be punished, or else he was grossly incompetent.
