I interviewed a few lawyers for my divorce and am very glad that a friend referred me to Carl. I have since referred him to others who have been happy with his services as well. He is blunt and to-the-point, but that's exactly what you want! He helped me set reasonable expectations, talked me down when needed, and kicked a** when it was time. I hope I never need a divorce attorney again, but if I do I'll be calling Carl.
Carl does his job well. I never had a problem with calling him, or him calling me back. He even gave me his cell number. I left my marriage with custody of my son and a more than fair division of marital property. Carl is a no nonsense attorney who, although straightforward to the point of blunt, helped me focus on what was important, my future and my son.
Carl was not as attentive as I hoped. The defense and direct witnesses were challenging, but we had plenty of character witnesses and documentation for a winning case. Much of what was presented in motions, the judge did not read. The trial was brief and an insult. I feel Carl changed the direction of my case and he failed to present much of what I provided. I lost custody.
He didn't return phone calls. I felt like my case was not a priority to him. He showed up late to court. But on other hand I got custody of my son.
