Hired Attorney

My husband and I sought legal counsel for assistance with purchasing a second home that was part of a trust with several attorneys involved. After speaking to several others, I found the Katje Law Group and immediately felt their Real Estate expertise and responsiveness to my questions was the firm I felt most comfortable working with. Hired Attorney

I was a client of Edna Fok, Esq. for a small claims case. She is a nice woman and this not personal. Per her legal advice, the law was “clear cut” and the judge had not choice but to follow the law, etc. She did research, requested a notarized letter, prepare documents, etc. all for a loss, including on appeal. What is terrible is the amount of my money and time wasted for this. She went from being confident to not being so sure. I heard excuses shortly after, all while her firm was persisting on collecting money for the work done that amounted to a loss. I would ‘t feel bad about the money if I won a judgment. But I was left worse off before a I started. I am upset about this. I blame Edna because I acted based on her legal advice that I was paying for. I should have done my own research on the success rate of Edna before I became the practice that will hopefully improve her as an attorney in the future. Unfortunately, her lesson was at my expense. I would never use this firm again.
