Initially, Farano seemed like the answer to my prayers. Aside from his long-winded consult and his constant boasting, he assured me that he would be my attorney and listen to my needs. He promised to advocate and be in my corner, even if I didn't always take his legal advice. As a victim of psychological abuse, I was in a constant state of panic and anxiety. I left the consult finally feeling that I was going to be alright. He said he was a quick study and would read over the materials I took so much time to compile. I've paid this man quite a bit of money, and on a couple of the tasks, he really delivered, but in the two years of dealing with him, I've experienced the most unethical behavior and bedside manner. Sheer negligence, failure to communicate, lack of preparedness for a criminal suit (had evidence for a year and a half and did not bother to look at anything), and rearranged details of my deceased mother’s estate. He was verbally abusive on several occasions.
