Hired Attorney Mr. Charles Dehlinger

I reached out to Charles Dehlinger during an incredibly difficult time. Having recently experienced a tragic loss while navigating both probate and an unexpected foreclosure. I was simply seeking legal guidance I could trust. I sent a thoughtful, respectful message asking for clarification about his fees before committing to a $1,500 retainer and followed up with a voicemail expressing continued interest. Instead of a professional or compassionate response, I received a curt and condescending email stating that I was “overly concerned with fees” and that I had “no concept of the issues” despite clearly explaining that I was trying to make a responsible financial decision for my family during a period of hardship. He then abruptly declined to represent me, offering no guidance or alternatives. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity especially when facing emotional and financial distress. The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
