Mr Ford established his authority with unrelenting thoroughness. In the face of severe opposition, My son facing was 40 years with 3 strikes/major offenses and walked away serving 5 years, which is unprecedented in his case. Mr Ford is very confident and does not play. Walk the walk with him and he will see you through it till the end. From the beginning I new God led me to him. Thank you again Mr Ford yes I would hire him again and absolutely refer him to anyone I know which I already have he knocked the socks off when he went to bat for my son.
Mr. ford discouraged me from going to trial with my case even thought I believed I was innocent; now I have not been able to get a job because of that conviction and can barely afford to feed my daughter. Mr. ford did not even show up to court and called for a stand in lawyer and charged me extra $500.00 for her. Needles to say, I didn't pay him that extra $500.00
Tom Ford hardly ever shows up in court. He will try to get you to take the plea deal rather than fight for you when you're innocent. I don't recommend him as an attorney if you want your case dealt with in an expeditious manner.
He didn't show up in court. He doesn't respond my messages anymore. Now I am back in my home country because I was counting on him to represent me in court since I had to come back due to my visa's expiration. Now I don't have much to do for my case because I'm in Brazil.
Tom Ford did not fulfill his constitutional obligation to investigate mitigating circumstances and factors for sentencing. He didn't do anything but take our money (a lot of it) and argue with us. He was only interested in a plea deal, not doing any work to fight for his client. He waited until it was too late to do anything other than force his client to take a plea. Working with Mr. Ford was one of the worst experiences in our lives. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone, not even an enemy.
