Steven A. Litz is a law firm with an office in Allentown, PA. At this office location, there is 1 lawyer practicing personal injury limited to automobile accidents, premises liability, domestic relations and 7 other areas of law.
Steven Litz is very knowledgeable about local nursing homes and area courts. He also, to my understanding, represents Lehigh Center. However,in cases where this relationship is not a conflict of interest, he is an excellent lawyer. He is also a friendly, positive person. This can be very important when elder care issues are involved, since the general category is typically not uplifting.
Steven Litz was the attorney chosen to settle my mother's estate. The estate was settled satisfactorily. My issue is not with Mr. Litz, but rather the secretary he employs in his office. She is completely unprofessional. She refused to give me any information as to their fees. She erroneously billed the executer of the estate for three "nuisance phone calls" for personally speaking with Mr. Litz. No one spoke to Mr. Litz except the executor of the estate. Upon further questioning this secretary the three phone calls became one phone call. This secretary lies, bills for services that were never performed and is all around nasty and not at all a good representative of Mr. Litz's law practice. I hope Mr. Litz realizes this and terminates this secretary.
Nice at first. Once hired...Went very long periods with no contact, no return phone calls, no answer when called. Only answered questions asked, never gave more info/advice to help me the client. Passive aggressive when asked why. Withheld knowledge that in turn made it hard to figure out what needed to be done on my end. I finally went elsewhere and it was a world of difference for the better.
