Hired Attorney Thomas P. Silis

If you need an attorney, then hire Silis & Associates! Tom represented me in a family law matter, and I could not have been more pleased with him and his entire staff and the results they delivered. Tom and his entire team listened to my (many) needs, responded to every call or email, understood what was important for me, and gave me the right advice, and was extremely fair and completely transparent in all billing matters. He and his staff always answered the phone when I called or called me back very promptly. And most notably, I respect Tom and his team for their absolute professionalism – with me, with the court, and with the other party. I was proud to have Tom stand by and represent me in court. He never overpromised and kept me fully appraised of my options to help me make the right decision. And we did. I felt like a valued client and am extremely happy with the results Tom and his team achieved. If I could, then I would give them 10 out of 5 stars. HIGHLY recommend.

Hired Law Firm

Tom and Mari have been great assets to me over my divorce and custody proceedings. They are warm, responsive, and have been extremely aggressive in ensuring that my requirements are being pursued. While my case is still active, it has been through no fault of theirs. Their rate is also very agreeable, given the area they serve.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.

• Notable: This rating indicates that the lawyer has been recognized by a large number of their peers for strong ethical standards.

Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.
