About Kay H. Michiels

Prior to joining Gold Weems, Kay practiced insurance defense and general civil litigation in Alexandria for 19 years. She left her practice in 2006 to serve the Mayor of Alexandria as his Chief Operating Officer and Director of Planning. In 2012 Kay left her position with the City of Alexandria to serve as corporate counsel for a leading heavy highway and bridge construction company located in Alexandria.
