Todd Schwarz graduated from Miami University with a B.A. in Economics in 1993 and from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1996. His first law job brought him to Albuquerque in 1996, and he has practiced in New Mexico since. Mr. Schwarz is a Director and Vice President of Miller Stratvert P.A., a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and licensed in New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas. He has tried over 30 jury trials, including multiple bad faith insurance cases, wrongful death cases, burn cases, and traumatic brain injury cases. Mr. Schwarz has concentrated on bad faith insurance issues for over 12 years and has handled more than 250 extra contractual cases to conclusion, including first and third-party actions. Mr. Schwarz has been recognized by Best Lawyers (Litigation-Insurance and Personal Injury Litigation-Defendants) since 2019 and was named Lawyer of the Year (Insurance Law) in 2024.
