About Timothy R. Briggs, Firm President/Managing Director

Mr. Briggs is the President and Managing Director of the firm.

Mr. Briggs received his B.A., summa cum laude, in 1980 from New Mexico Highlands University, and his J.D., cum laude, in 1984 from Texas Tech University. He is recognized by both Southwest Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America in the field of Workers’ Compensation. He has represented and defended numerous employers and companies in cases throughout New Mexico. Mr. Briggs has also represented numerous oil and gas entities, as well as mining companies relating to personal injury claims. He is an approachable lawyer, who is well respected by his clients for working effectively and tenaciously on their behalf.

Mr. Briggs is not only a hardworking lawyer; he also participates in the community. He is a board member of the New Mexico Businessmen’s Team Roping Association and he, along with the firm, are supporters of Cowboys for Cancer Research, a New Mexico non-profit corporation dedicated to helping find a cure for cancer.

Mr. Briggs also represents individuals and businesses in the areas of employer's liability, general insurance defense and liquor liability.
