Mr. Melwani intentionally kept the amount of my Chapter 13 payment plan until after I had paid $1,000 up front. He admitted that after people hear how much their payments are, that they typically will not proceed, so he intentionally asks for his money up front. Already in a dire financial situation, I felt taken advantage of in this instance. I don't think the work that he did, justified the $1,000 fee.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
