I do not have enough kind words for Lawrence “Larry” Kronen. I had a very negative experience with an attorney prior to meeting Mr. Kronen. He showed compassion for all parties involved in the dispute. He patiently listened to my concerns, then concisely described which evidence was most relevant and clearly explained his rationale. He was insightful as he analyzed and considered all perspectives. Above all, Mr. Kronen has excellent negotiation skills, is trustworthy, and extremely responsive to his clients’ needs.

This attorney charges $300 just for a consultation, which is an incredibly steep fee—especially given the lack of empathy or professionalism I experienced. From the beginning, he was cold, dismissive, and completely lacking in compassion. When I shared that I was dealing with postpartum depression, he immediately told me that it would not have any impact on my case and dismissed it as irrelevant. He made it clear that I couldn’t use it as a factor in fighting for custody of my baby. Not only was this hurtful, but it also showed a complete lack of understanding of maternal mental health and the legal relevance of such a serious condition. It felt like I was being judged rather than supported, and I left the consultation feeling worse, not better—defeated, devalued, and angry. I came to this lawyer looking for guidance and empathy during one of the most vulnerable times in my life. Instead, I was met with cold legal jargon and zero emotional sensitivity.
