In the midst of a particularly contentious divorce, one of my closest friends sought the counsel of Karole Kohl after interviewing several attorneys. He chose her in November of 2019 after being assured that our state’s laws would favor his side in his particular set of circumstances, and informed him that she had just won a case for a client in a very similar predicament. Ms. Kohl gave my friend hope that he would not lose what he spent his life’s work building by promising that his opponent not only had a weak case, but an inept and under- informed lawyer. My friend spent weeks preparing financial statements and responding to endless documents.
