About Dennis A. Banning

Dennis graduated from the University of New Mexico with a B.A. in History in December of 1989 and from the University of New Mexico with a Juris Doctor in May of 2000. He has practiced in the areas of Workers Compensation Defense and Creditor Law, but the vast majority of his legal experience has been helping individuals through his bankruptcy practice.In the course of his career representing individuals, Dennis has filed over 1100 Chapter 7 bankruptcies, and over 200 Chapter 13 reorganization bankruptcies. He enjoys the opportunity to help people who are facing difficult times and provide them with a fresh start in life.

The firm of Don Harris and Associates was not pulled out of a hat. After careful considerations, we chose this one. Our initial visit was conducted by Dennis A. Banning and his associate. What immediately stood out to me was how attentive he was as we explained our situation, and how we got there. Once we were through, Dennis began to explain the process. He was very clear and concise, all the while very understanding. Dennis informed us what he expected from us, as well as what we should expect from him. Dennis was in constant contact with us through email and phone. No fax here, as to not jeopardize confidentiality of the client. Printed documentation was provided by him to keep us on track. Dennis was a constant through our complete process. We shook hands at first meeting. When our business was complete, I gave him a hug. I would describe Dennis as: Courteous, Extremely Knowledgeable, Competent, Discreet and Expeditious. He is that rare pearl in a sea of sharks.
