David Link, an attorney at Parnall Law, was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in a one-bedroom house located near the capitol, behind Kaune's grocery store. His mother worked as a middle school teacher, instilling in him the values of hard work and the importance of community created by people, not businesses. David's upbringing motivated him to represent ordinary individuals against large insurance companies.
Due to his mother's profession, David had the opportunity to live in various places across the United States, as well as Ecuador and Pakistan. After returning to the US, he attended Vassar College and graduated with honors. Following graduation, David worked as a computer programmer in Wisconsin for several years but eventually realized his passion lay in working directly with people on a daily basis.
With a desire to pursue a career where he could have a more personal impact, David decided to attend law school. It was clear to him that returning to his home state of New Mexico was the right choice. He enrolled at the University of New Mexico School of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude.
During his time in law school, David actively engaged in academic and practical pursuits. He worked on the New Mexico Law Review and served as a research assistant for two published articles. He also gained experience as an extern with a federal judge and participated in a moot court team that competed in a national competition held in Los Angeles. One of his most fulfilling experiences was providing free legal assistance to women experiencing homelessness through UNM's clinical program.
Now a part of the Parnall Law team, David takes pride in zealously advocating for his clients who have been injured. Outside of his legal work, he enjoys reading, cooking, and visiting the BioPark with his wife.
