About Mr. Arun Melwani

Arun Melwani is the founder of Melwani Law, P.C., a firm dedicated to helping individuals and families facing debt crises. After recognizing the need for competent and affordable representation, he focused his practice on providing legal solutions for those in financial distress. Mr. Melwani holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Managerial Finance and Economics from New Mexico State University and worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Intel Corporation before pursuing law. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2002. During law school, he served as Administrative Editor of the Natural Resources Journal and interned for a federal bankruptcy judge. Before founding Melwani Law, P.C. in 2004, he gained experience working with a bankruptcy trustee and a large consumer bankruptcy firm. A member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) and a graduate of the Max Gardner Bankruptcy Boot Camp, Mr. Melwani has handled cases under Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. He is admitted to practice in all New Mexico courts and has successfully represented thousands of individuals seeking debt relief.
