Aldridge, Hammar & Wexler, P.A. is a law firm established in 1939 with an office in Albuquerque, NM. At this office location, there are 5 lawyers practicing general civil practice, trial practice, appellate practice and 14 other areas of law.
I retained Kevin Hammar to do the legal work for my aunt's estate. Everything went fine, and the charges were very reasonable. I'm an attorney myself, in a different state, and I am referring one of my clients who need a NM attorney to Mr. Hammar.
Keven Hammar has always execellent work for me over many years. Small business incorporation, Real estate contracts and deeds. I highly recommend him.
Kevin set up our family trust and has continued to be there for us for questions and changes as well as taking care of land transfers and general legal problems. He is prompt and accurate, you can totally trust any work he does. We moved to another state but he continues to be our go-to no matter where we are.
Our family has been with Mr. Hammar for two generations. He has been extremely professional and helpful in settling our Family Trust with clarity and fairness. He is handling the next generational Trust and helping us getting all our legal documents in order. It seems as if his accumulated knowledge of law has almost covered his fees.
Character limit is an issue here. Can't enter my whole review. Thus severely edited here v. what I have out there on Google reviews. Find it there. My issue wi/Jason which is unfathomable to me that he didn't do-being proactive! At no time during the whole month was I ever told that all $2K has been exhausted & needed to be replenished. Even though my "invoice" was readied on the 1st of the next month by the firm, I did not get an actual bill until the 9th, 40 days from the start! Talk about sticker shock! I was now on the hook according to Jason's tracking for a total about $4500 minus the $2K I already put down. AND now I owed even more for the first 9 days for any billable hours now bring my total up to around $5500. Luckily, me/the buyer were just waiting on the appraisal as the last major item before closing so I immediately cut him loose because I was irate that it seemed like he purposefully left me in the dark in order to maximize the money due-pathetic and unethical.
I met this law firm through my mother before she passed away in 2006.I set up a trust for my son-did not work out well. My sons' trust monies were for my sons' benefit but most of the monies were for the trust officers. My mothers' will designated Mr. Hammar as her personal representative, he also turned the last 2 articles over to a different lawyer as he would have a conflict of interest-article 6 made a HEMS trust for me and article 7 made Wachovia Bank as Estate Trustee- 7 yrs probate?
