Taylor C. Cuomo joined Whiteman Osterman & Hanna as an associate attorney in 2018. As the senior associate in the immigration practice group, Ms. Cuomo focuses her practice on all aspects of immigration law including removal defense before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (Immigration Court), family-based cases, humanitarian cases, employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa processing (including outstanding researcher, extraordinary ability and national interest waiver petitions), as well as overcoming government challenges in response to requests for evidence and intent to deny. Her primary focuses include representing clients before the Executive Office for Immigration Review and Board of Immigration Appeals for removal/deportation defense and defensive asylum cases. In doing so, Ms. Cuomo travels extensively throughout the U.S. to represent clients before local immigration courts and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services field offices.

Ms. Cuomo supports the work of Capital District organizations including The Legal Project, U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, and the Capital Region Immigration Collaborative, and is committed to community involvement through volunteer activities and a variety of pro-bono services in the immigrant community.
