Hired Attorney Ruth Supovitz

Ms. Supovitz was appointed to my case as my guardian ad litem. At the time I was a ward of the state as a youth in foster care so she was appointed to my case by the courts and my experience working with her is less then unfavorable. For starters, nobody informed me of her purpose of being on my case and if they did, it was done in a way I didn’t understand. For the longest time I thought she was just a regular lawyer. I did not know she was meant to be an advocate to work in my best interest. During my time working with her, she never contacted me when she was required to. Legally she was supposed to contact me in order to check in once a month and the only time I spoke to her was during permanency hearings and when I did, she apparently scared of me and then would demean me outside of it and worst of all, she based her recommendation on what was best for me on what a man who was exposed for abusing us wanted which contradicted everything that her role was supposed to stand for.

Hired Attorney Ruth Supovitz

This lawyer is horrendous. Total lack of professionslism and sound decion making. My children were put in harms way due to Ruth. She should be disbarred for the harm she caused to my children. I would hate to see any family have to go through the hell she created for us.
