Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer. He is willing to work with clients. Office needs to communicate better with Mr. Holmes. Would recommend this office to anyone needing a attorney in this area. Mr. Holmes is understanding and compassionate to everyone he talks to.
I would highly recommend that you DO NOT USE this law office. I paid up front (which I didn't like) before the appointment, $200 for the consultation. The Attorney did not call or show up for the telephone appointment. When I call to inquire I constantly get "the mailbox is full." My first clue should have been when the administrator who set up the consultation stated that I would receive forms, that I needed to sign before the appointment, agreeing to pay flat fees and that the forms would arrive BLANK WITH NO RATES --- that I should just sign and return them?? What Law Office would even suggest that? DON'T DO IT!!!
Todd Holmes was assigned to my husbands case as a public defender. the only thing he did for my husband was cram the worst plea deal possible down his throat. Todd convinced my husband to sign the plea that had enhancements hanging over his head. My husband had just did more time in prison than these charges carried and Todd did not even try to get him time served. The charge he was pleaing to took place long before he did his time in texas so yeah time served was feezable but Todd didnt even try. Then he sat there and did not even try to get his time to run concurrent. needless to say on my husbands first violation he was sent to do all of his time with the enhancements. what did todd do at his probation violation hearing? he dropped my husband as a client the day before court. just because i had words for his secertary who doesnt know the first thing about filing a motion or anything else for that matter. in my opinion todd holmes is no good neither is his assistant.
THIS GUY IS A HORRIBLE EXCUSE FOR A LAWYER DO NOT HIRE HIM. HE DIDNT DO ANYTHING FOR MY FRIEND. HE HARDLY EVER RETURNS CALLS DID NOT PROPERLY INVESTIGATE CASE DID ABSOLUTLY NO PLEA BARGENING ON HER BEHALF HE WAIVED RIGHTS WITHOUT HER CONSENT. HE LET A TRIAL GO FOR THREE YEARS AND REQUESTED MOTION TO VACATE OR A CONTINUANCE ON 5 OUT OF 6 HEARINGS DUE TO HIS UNPREPAREDNESS TWO OF WHICH MY FRIEND SAT IN A PRETRIAL INCARCERATION THAT LASTED SIX MONTHS. HE FAILED TO INFORM THE COURT OF THERE MISTAKES AND REFUSED TO GO ALONG WITH ANY OF THE REQUEST MY FRIEND HAD MADE.... ALTHOUGH WHEN HE DID ANSWER HIS PHONE, HE CONSTANTLY SAID HE WASNT AVAILABLE DUE TO HIM HAVING "HIGH PROFILE" CASES IN ALAMAGORDO AND LAS CRUSES THAT TOOK PRIORITY SO I GUESS YOU MAY HAVE A BETTER CHANCE TO GET HIM TO FIGHT FOR YOU IF YOURE PAYING HIM IN CASH. HE WAS CONTRACTED THRU THE PUBLIC DEFENDER'S OFFICE IN MY FRIENDS CASE BUT WHY RISK IT IM SURE YOU CAN FIND SOMEONE BETTER
