WARNING: Communication was poor—often unresponsive, even when the client was present at court. He failed to provide a written agreement or contract and never gave itemized invoices, despite multiple requests. He requested an additional $20,000 to hire a private investigator, yet no investigator was ever retained. Instead, he attempted to use that money to pay himself for visiting the crime scene. At trial, he was surprised by facts he should have known—this lack of preparation was due to poor communication and failure to investigate. He did not follow through on promises and refused to transfer the client’s file to a new attorney despite repeated requests. I hired him for a case in Barberton Ohio. He refused to meet with me after he took my money. We went to court he was unprepared with no knowledge about my case. I left a longer review on another site. He takes your money and then ignores you until the day of court which he has to afford up at that point. I was found guilty on this case because of no representation from a man that I paid $1000 too represent me. He has a nasty attitude and demeanor. Terrible experience with him and now my clean record is no longer clean when in fact I am completely innocent!!!!!!!!!! 😞 I contacted my bank and showed them all of my text messages etc and they did give me my money back! The was no evidence of him helping me but alot of evidence of him ignoring me, and talking down to me.

Do not hire this attorney if you need actual representation because he is not will nor capable of providing that. This attorney did absolutely nothing more than take my money and ignore me and my calls/inquiries throughout the duration of my case. He then had me show up to court under the false pretense that I was coming in for mediation when he had in fact been working on a plea deal with the prosecutor against my wishes and without notifying me, the one thing I was clear I did not want.

He is Terrible he's lazy wants top dollar to do absolutely nothing we fired him he would not remove himself from the case it was a federal case he acted like he was scared to speak up every meeting became a counseling session for me not to discuss his clients case on 10 months he seen his client 2 times maybe 10 min each time he's terrible please do not hire him if you or your loved one are fighting for your freedom

Working with Walter was a disappointment. Walter was not welcoming when I needed questions answered. He did not visit my loved one who is incarcerated with lenghtly time tables. He was in and out when he visited and he kept trying to get him to take a plea with a time that could have been reduced. I do not think he should be practicing law. We got another attorney who showed us all of the motions that Walter should have filed. He took fifteen thousand dollars off of me and did absolutely NOTHING. DO NOT GO WITH THIS ATTORNEY!!!!!
