About James E. Davis

James E. Davis ("Jim") was born in 1934 in Barberton, Ohio. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University and his Juris Doctor from the Cleveland Marshall School of Law. He is a member of the Akron and Ohio Bar Associations. In 2015, Jim was honored as the Senior Lawyer of the Year by the Akron Bar Association.

He served in the United States Army and was a Board Member of the Akron Bar and Akron Bar Foundation where he served a term as President. He is a musician and is active in local music organizations. He recently published a book entitled "Fundamental Exercises for Trumpet Players".

He has practiced before the PUCO, ICC , the FCC and the Ohio Supreme Court.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database.
