I was born in Akron, Ohio on February 6, 1950. I attended the University of Akron, graduating with honors in 1972. I also went to law school at the University of Akron and received my law degree in 1975. I am licensed to practice law in all the state courts of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

I have been practicing law for 35 years.

More About Ed

My parents were older when I was born and I saw them face many issues involved with preparing for their golden years, dealing with elderly challenges, protecting their estate and legacy. This was one of the factors that inspired me to become a lawyer and when I did, I began assisting individuals from all walks of life with probate and estate planning concerns. I have found my individualized attention to my clients very challenging as well as rewarding. I have also enjoyed my involvement with people as the legal counsel for various governmental entities.

By focusing on the practice areas of probate and estate planning within my areas of concentration, I have the unique privilege of developing very long term relationships with clients to help them properly prepare and plan for major life events that lie ahead. I feel it’s very important to concentrate on the individual needs of every client, thoroughly educate and inform them and deliver them positive results.

Hired Attorney Edward C. Pullekins, Esq.

We had extremely excellent service from Attorney Ed Pullekins, Anne Williams and other staff of Slater & Zurz, in regards to the handling of an Estate Case involving our family. There were several complicating factors with the Estate, but when we went to Mr. Pullekins of Slater & Zurz, he listened to our situation and then presented the case solutions to us. We engaged with Slater & Zurz, and we can report that everything in the case was handled correctly and in a very professional manner; our Probate case was handled and closed without any issues. It's very comforting knowing you have Slater & Zurz handling your legal affairs, and in this case, it's very comforting having Mr. Ed Pullekins handling your Estate affairs. We would certainly recommend Mr. Pullekins & Slater & Zurz for any Estate issues, and also any other Legal affairs.
