We met with him, were clear about who we wanted to sue and why. We paid a retainer and were told we had to wait on an investigation. After the investigation was finished Almost all contact from him ceased. Emails were not answered, voicemails were not returned. He would occasionally answer the phone but was always too busy to talk and never called back. This went on for just long enough for the statute of limitations on legal malpractice to run out, then he refused to continue the case claiming he'd merely been hired to "represent" us which did not mean filing any suits. We were never sent any statements and I am doubtful he performed any actual work.
