David S. Nichol is a partner at Roderick Linton Belfance, LLP. He began his career in business working for Master Builders Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio before attending law school at Thomas M. Cooley in Michigan where he graduated with honors. Mr. Nichol has also owned and operated a real estate company giving him additional practical experience that he brings with him in assisting his clients.
Mr. Nichol practiced law in California and was a managing partner at Borchard & Nichol, LLC from 1996 through 2000 before relocating back to Ohio. Mr. Nichol joined Roderick Linton, LLP, now Roderick Linton Belfance, LLP in early 2000 and has practiced primarily in the areas of litigation, employment, business-financial-estate planning since that time.
Mr. Nichol is a member of the Akron Bar Association and has also served as an arbitrator for the Summit County Common Pleas Court. In addition to being active in the legal community, David regularly volunteers his time assisting the Akron Bar as well as local nursing homes and hospitals with voluntary estate planning and write a will programs.
