Brenda Schwartz joined the firm in 2014 and practices in the areas of estate planning and taxation, business succession planning, business law, NFA Trusts and probate litigation.
Ms. Schwartz graduated with honors from The University of Akron School of Law with a Summa Cum Laude distinction. She was also Valedictorian of her class. She was an Articles Editor of the Akron Law Review, and was the recipient of the Donald Jenkins Scholarship Award for Top Graduate. Ms. Schwartz earned her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University where she also graduated with a Summa Cum Laude distinction.
Ms. Schwartz is a member of the Akron and Ohio State Bar Associations, and is a fellow of the Akron Bar Foundation.
In 2009, Ms. Schwartz was honored with the Murrary Glauberman Young Leadership Award. Civic and professional involvement is also very important to Ms. Schwartz. She is a member of the Jewish Community Board of Akron, and member and secretary of the Akron Civil War Memorial Society, Historic Glendale Cemetery and Friends of Historic Glendale Cemetery.
