Attorney Amourgis was very good. He handled my case and was very helpful. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything so we felt comfortable with him handling our case. I highly recommend him!

I have had an excellent experience working with this attorney, despite some differing opinions from others. His knowledge and expertise are truly commendable, and I would certainly hire him again without hesitation. It's important to recognize that attorneys, especially in bankruptcy cases, often manage multiple cases simultaneously—sometimes as many as 8 or more per day. For those who feel they did not receive immediate responses, it's likely due to their own expectations for promptness, which may not always be realistic given the demands on an attorney's time. In my experience, this attorney was thorough, professional, and responsive, providing the guidance and support needed throughout the process.

Absolutely horrible experience. They didn’t explain anything well. They didn’t talk to my car company to explain that I was filing a chapter 13 bankruptcy. But charged me $900 when i wanted a refund because of phone calls. I left work early for an appointment just to not speak with a lawyer but a front desk associate who went over the paperwork that I had already filed out. They only care about money not helping the clients. Please go elsewhere!

I am currently giving 1 star all around but will update if and when things get worked out... Here is my reason and complaint: I originally agreed to a payment plan for the retainer. 3 weeks before the first payment was scheduled to be paid I worked things out on my own and no longer needed legal services. I followed the agreement and sent via email in writing that I no longer needed the legal assistance. They never worked on my case. Then a month and a half later they withdrew 2 payments 2 days apart out of my account for "legal services". I called and thought I had it all worked out. I received one payment back but 10 days later (yesterday) I had to call about the rest. They assured me it was processed on 2/19 and my account did reflect a pending deposit. Then today 2/20 I check my account and the pending deposit is gone and instead they withdrew another payment! If I ever get my money back and the payments to STOP I will revise this review. I just want my money back!

This firm reached out to me about tax relief, and I responded to see what they're about. Since telling them that I won't pay them $500 to get $200 worth of tax relief and they're wasting both of our times (this being after they tried to pressure me into paying them $50 every two weeks and I said no multiple times), they have contacted me multiple times a day, harassing me with phone calls, text messages, and even mail. They are relentless and will not stop harassing you if you even answer their first time reaching out to you. I can't imagine why anyone would go to someone who only wants your money and has no respect for you, your time, or anything else. This firm is anathema. I hope with the way they treat potential clients that they don't succeed. They deserve to not even have clients with how abysmally they consider you.

This "firm" is an absolute travesty. They contacted me with promises of getting my city taxes that are in arrears (around $16500)... and I told them that my absolute MAX that I could pay and they promised to negotiate it down and do what they could for me. They took all my money first, and then they called me, and acted all excited - that they got me the HIGHEST amount possible, they negotiated NOTHING down. Then, when I saw through their excitement of this, I put some Bass in my voice and said that it was unacceptable and they needed to do their job. I got a call the next day saying they got it lowered! (with same excitemetn).. by a fraction, and STILL no negotiation. THEN, I realized after a month +, I've only been talking to a legal assistant. I NEVER spoke to an attorney. I never once got "LEGAL ADVICE OR REPRESENTATION".... they're scammers. These positive reviews are made by family members of the employees there. Do a deep dive and you'll see that. DO NOT TRUST THESE SCAMMERS!!!

Absolutely horrible with communication . Always claims he is too busy or overwhelmed to answer your calls and emails. Avoid this one and recovery law group . They stop caring once they get your money and will pair you up with this guy .

The Worst attorney out there. I hired him, gave him a $5000 retainer. He or his crew never ever even looked at the case. He kept $500 of the retainer , when asked for my money back. Unreliable, untrustworthy are few words that remind of him.

This firm does not care about it's customers/ clients. They will lie and cheat to hook you, and by the time you realize that they have taken advantage of you, it's too late to back out because you've already invested so much money. Communication is horrible- you are better off doing everything on your own as they offer little to no guidance. I keep emailing and messaging them and it either gets bounced back to me as an invalid address or I am told to call them- even though I keep telling them that I am not usually able to call from work and the hours conflict with their hours. They have changed attorneys on us at least 5 times and have never informed us when our case has been re-assigned. They do not care about you, they do not want to help you- they just want to get paid. I will continue to spread the word because they do not deserve a dime of your hard-earned money!
