Jones Carter Law is a law firm established in 1980 with an office in Ahoskie, NC. At this office location, there are 3 lawyers practicing personal injury, estate law, last will and testament and 12 other areas of law.
Mr. Carter is also well connect in local politics. He sits on the town council of one of the towns adjacent to Ahoskie (Powellsville). He was most helpful in orienting a new business to the local "lay of the land".
My experience with Mr. Carter was not a good one. I hired him to aid with a real estate issue. He explained he could resolve the issue rather quickly. The case ended up taking 23 month's, and nearly no update from Mr. Carter or his staff. When I did speak with them they were hostile, rude, uncivil. The case was settled, but only because he found a way to profit from the closure of it. I was so unhappy about his treatment of me that i contact the state bar to file a grievance. The state bar sent me a letter stating they had warned the attorney.
