Absolutely devastating to pay a retainer to an attorney, money you can’t spare, only for him to lie about the things he was (not) doing on the case. He takes advantage of people in personal crisis that don’t know the court process. In dangerous family law situations, attorneys are supposed to be your shield and represent you in the only legal place you have to fight against an abuser. You do not want this complete flake as your attorney. Lies to the end and straight to your face. Now having to come up with a new retainer for someone to fix his mess. Already contacted the bar. I’m actually shocked he is allowed in a court room at all.
Do not use this attorney if you want someone that actually knows the law. He doesn’t communicate other than lies and what he wants you to believe. He doesn’t prepare you for court and then in court is an actual joke. I have filed a complaint with the bar as he is takes your money and lies to you throughout the whole process and first I want everyone know I have never filed a review on anything as I understand sometimes things just don’t work out but this man shouldn’t have a license and that is the truth don’t put yourself through what our family had to endure due to his negligence and lack of knowledge.
He is a thief. I had Mr. McMeans on retainer for a custody case which at first he was doing great, realizing I was paying a retainer for each case and he should still be on the last retainer I paid I had to ask for a break down of hours to which he cut off communication with me. I have filed a complain with the Bar Association but do not hire him. He will steal your money and ask for more money without doing the work or providing a break down of hours.
Absolutely nothing good whatsoever to say about him. Complete waste of time and money. No idea how he passed the bar exam. He's an idiot. He admitted I should continue to litigate the case myself.
