Attorney Karen Levitt is a competent collaborative divorce lawyer who I recommend enthusiastically from personal experience.
I was seeking guardianship assistance and I called Atty Levitt. While my particualr need fell outside her scope, she offered to do some research and get back to me with referrals of specialists that may be able to help. Above and Beyond what I would have expected.
The judgment for my case ultimately came down in my favor, but the handling of it was poorly executed. Karen lacked the emotional intelligence required for a Guardian Ad Litem. She held judgment of our case until the point where it could not be negotiated beyond her recommendation. The terms she stipulated were so unfair that the judge in my case incredulously asked if I "really wanted to sign the agreement." Shortly thereafter, a law firm unrelated to this case commented I had the worst agreement they have ever seen, with questions about who actually created it.
I felt she was working for my ex. He cheated on me and had an under the table job and I got nothing! He got everything.
